NEW UNIQUE SHAPE

We have completely redesigned the shape of the Vivexotic vents. Instead of being circular, the vents are now of a long linear form. This helps provide a better air flow by covering a longer length of the vivarium, pulling new air in, and pushing old air out the entire length of the vivarium, rather than just in small sections as previous.

The narrow shape, also allows us to position the vents as close to the top of the vivarium as possible. This prevents pockets of hot used air from forming at the top of the vivarium, which can lead to bowing of the wood.

STYLISH APPEARANCE

We have moved away from the basic white plastic vents which most other vivarium manufacturers’ use, and instead have created a beautiful silver finish which is in-keeping with the silver glass runners at the front of the vivarium.

This shiny silver exterior compliments the wood grains perfectly and provides a less conspicuous alternative to the vivid white which is commonly used. This colour is also less prone to staining and yellowing under hot UV lights.

THE PERFECT FIT

Most vents have a smooth exterior which is not ideal, as it is often easy to push them out of the holes on the back panel. Our new design has grooves along the outside, so once inserted into the wood, the vent will grip on and stay in position. This is far superior as is prevents the risk of vents falling out, creating a large open hole, when your reptile & live foods are inside.

OPTIMUM HOLE SIZE

The vent holes measure 15mm long, by 1.5mm high. This is the most advantageous size for inside a vivarium as it is large enough to allow air to flow in & out effortlessly, but it is small enough to prevent live foods from escaping.

The holes are also just the right size to provide the correct temperature & humidity levels within your vivarium.
